FreeFiller – Local Autofill & Snippets is a Chrome extension saves time by filling forms using rules you define. A free replacement option with similar features to Lighting Autofill. Capture whole forms, tweak matches with labels and regex, search your rulebase, and keep data tidy with built‑in deduplication.

Install

  1. Download the ZIP and extract it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions → **Developer mode** → **Load unpacked**.
  3. Pick the extracted folder. Pin the extension to your toolbar.
  4. Open the **Options** page to start creating rules.

FAQ

How do I update to a new version?
Remove the previous folder, download the new ZIP, and use Load unpacked again. Your extension data remains unless you remove it from Chrome.
Where are settings stored?
Both extensions use Chrome storage APIs. You can export/import rules from the options page.
